Love frees all, Last Post

The most valued moral; lesson; connection within these individual stories is Love. Love is believed to be the strongest magic of all in these stories. The way each character is presented and represented in the show reveals another way we search for love in the real world. Whether we are searching for love within our community, our family, or within our relationships we still go out of our way for this thing called love. In fact, love is represented in so many ways here in the world of reality. Our music is always connected to love even if its connected to the love of the wrong thing. Our television shows are often connected to love. This show in particular has a very creative way of explaining it. I do very much appreciate and enjoy it. I will continue to watch this show even after this project. It gives me hope and makes me feel like anything is possible. Really stopping to analyze this show and the characters in it has made me realize that everything we do has a lot more meaning to it than we think. I love that I've gotten to see what the directors, writers, and producers were trying to portray when creating such a divine masterpiece.

The quotes below are from the show and I think it would give you viewers a better intake of what I am talking about:

Tinker Bell, "The Clumsy Fairy"

Regina met Tinker Bell before she became the evil queen.Regina was going to jump because she was so tired of being locked up in a kingdom and being the wife of someone she didn't love. As she jumped Tinker Bell came and picked her up using her magical wand. Tinker Bell was trying to  give her a second chance in life. So she agreed to give her the chance to fall in love again. Tinker Bell went out of her way to help Regina find a new man. In fact, Tinker Bell's whole job depended on Regina falling in love because she stole the pixie dust to make Regina fly and to help her find her soul mate. But when Regina was given the chance to meet the guy, all the emotions from the last time she fell in love rushed back. When Tinker Bell left Regina ran away and the Fairy Queen stopped believing in Tinker Bell. Thus taking away Tinker Bell's wings, when her wings were gone her career ended she was banned to never land because she became a "lost fairy" without her magic.

Instead of becoming evil and choosing revenge over love and hope, the fairy chooses to neither kill nor help Regina. that way she is not really involved in the situation- at first. Sooner than later the fairy realizes that the only way for her to fix this situation is to help Regina and her friends find Henry and save him from Peter Pan. Indeed, making her choice love and hope.

A lesson that could be learned from this character being added to the show is that no matter what you must always do what is right. Even when evil and hatred surrounds you, it is always best to choose the path with love in it. Tinker Bell showed this by keeping a positive attitude when Regina was treating her as if she was not human, and she also showed this by not killing Regina. Instead of killing her she got the answers she saw necessary out of her.

Ariel, The Little Mermaid

Snow meets Ariel while on the run from the evil kings men, when Snow jumps of the cliff into the water Ariel saves her life. In order for Snow to pay the mermaid back she decides to help her find her true love. Ariel mentions that she has had love at first sight with this man named Eric. Whom she had rescued from a shipwreck. Rescuing people is something she defines as one of her hobbies. Since he was unconscious when she saved him, she wasn't sure if he seen her face but she feel in love with him. In this version of The Little Mermaid, Ursula is the goddess of the sea and is not referred to as particularly evil. In fact, every big tide she grants mermaids the chance to have real legs for 12 hours when their tail touches the ground. Snow White decides to help Ariel get to this ball that he prince is hosting so that she could have the chance to meet him. When she gets to this ball she meets her prince and finds out that he has fallen in love with her also. Both, the prince and Ariel admit into wanting to explore the world. The Prince gives Ariel the choice to meet him in the morning by the dock so that they can go on their adventure together. Ariel is skeptical about telling Prince Eric the truth because she thinks that he might not accept her if he found out that she was a mermaid. She goes to the sea and talks to it as if it were Queen Ursula, Goddess of the sea herself. Since Ursula is a myth in this story, the Evil Queen (Regina) pretends to be the goddess, and tricks Ariel into trapping Snow so that Regina can kill her.

Instead of going on and choosing her love life, Ariel decides to help Snow escape once again. She swims off with Snow. When Snow and Ariel get far enough from the Evil Queen, Snow tells Ariel to go back and find her Prince. When Ariel returns as a mermaid her prince is there but she is unable to speak. The Evil Queen takes away Ariel's voice, so that she will never know if the Prince would have loved her and accepted her being  a mermaid at all. As she insults Ariel she calls her "The Little Mermaid", and this is how she gets her name.

The lesson that I've learned from this is that love doesn't always apply to the opposite sex like we often portray it to be. Love also applies to your relationship with your friends. One quote that I found very significant from the show was "... the one thing that makes everyone crazy is love...", which was said by Snow White. This quote fits this particular situation because even though Ariel was given the chance to go and find love she still stayed and helped her friend. I think she did it because she loved her friend and seeing her in danger made her crazy enough to help.

Family Tree

We are going to start off on Season 3 Episode 1 of the ABC Family original show called "Once Upon A Time". Thus far we have revealed these important parts of the plot....

1. The show takes place in the Enchanted forest. Where everything is magical.
2. The Evil Queen, Regina, seeks revenge on Snow White because when Snow White was a little girl she spilled the beans about Regina being in love with another man, Daniel. Even though Snow's intentions were good and she was just a young girl, Regina blames her for the death of her beloved Daniel. She often refers to this incident as the "secret" that Snow did not keep.
3. Regina's mother, Coral, was a bearer of a dark magic that allowed her to rip the hearts out of a person's body and gain total control of them and what they do.This is how Daniel was killed, Coral ripped his heart out and squeezed it to black dust.
4. The revenge that Regina seeks is her reasoning for casting a dark curse on all of the enchanted forest that puts them in this town called Storybrooke in the real world. This is where they are put in many difficult positions such as not knowing their true identities, forgetting the ones they love, and worst of all living the same life everyday because time is frozen until the savior comes to save them on her 23rd birthday.
5. Snow White met Prince Charming when she ran away from the Evil Queen and ever since then they have been inseparable. They are the main example given for "True Love". Before the curse is cast, Snow gives birth to a baby girl, named Emma, who is sent to the real world through a enchanted wardrobe.
6. Emma gave birth to a baby boy named Henry but gave him up for adoption when he was a newborn because she felt she was not ready to be a parent. This boy is then adopted by Regina, which makes Henry her son also. Henry decides he wants to find his real mom and finds Emma.
7. Henry knows what is going on and he also knows that Regina is the evil queen and Emma is the only savior. He tries to convince Emma that what he says about the Enchanted Forest is true.
8. Emma stays in town and then times is unfrozen. The longer she stays in town the more the town changes. Sooner or later she breaks the curse.
9. Even though the curse is broken nobody is sent back to the enchanted forest, so Regina and a guy named Rumpelstiltskin bring magic to the read world, where the town of Storybrooke faces a lot more challenges.

One the main morals and lessons displayed in this TV series is love. Love is displayed in many ways. One of which is fear. The photo above has some of the characters who have fallen in love shown above. But one main example of love through fear is Emma. Emma only stays in Storybrooke because she fears what will happen to Henry if she leaves him with Regina any longer. Staying in Storybrooke allows her to meet Mary (Snow White) with whom she begins to love because she has shown a lot of support, - something she has lived and grown up without- love is a big idea in this show as does fear battles with it to make new challenges and brings in more information and characters.

Welcome!!!!!!
